SEN Local offer

The SEN Local offer is our commitment to providing the best possible teaching and learning support for those pupils with additional needs.

The Children and Families Bill was enacted in 2014.

Local services including education providers are required to publish and keep under review information about services available for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) aged 0-25. This is the ‘Local Offer’.

The intention of the Local Offer is to improve choice and transparency for families. It will also be an important resource for professionals in understanding the range of services and provision at Tiggers. A further key role for the Local Offer will be to inform the joint commissioning for children and young people with SEN and disabilities by setting out in a single place what is available.

In response to this Tiggers has written and published a SEN Local Offer which can be found by following the link on this page.

Any gaps in children’s learning are quickly identified and plans are put in place to close them.
